Hazard reduction burns: Daleys Point Cultural Burn
There is a planned Hazard Reduction burn in this park from 29/04/2024. The fire is called Daleys Point Cultural Burn. Refer to the Rural Fire Service for latest information. Do not enter any closed area or area with fire. If you see an unattended fire call Triple Zero (000). Penalties apply for non-compliance. Closed areas: Area Closed for Cultural Burn
Some parts of this park are closed for a cultural burn from Monday 29 April to Tuesday 30 April 2024. The closed areas are:
- Daleys Point Aboriginal Area
- Part of Daleys Point Trail, north-west of the junction with Fisherman Trail
Penalties apply for non-compliance. This burn is called NPWS Daleys Point Stage 2 - Cultural Burn. For more information, contact the local NPWS Girrakool office on 43204200 or visit the Rural Fire Service website.
Closed areas: Rocky Point trail closed for Central Coast Council maintenance works
Some parts of this park are closed from Thursday 22 February to Friday 17 May 2024 for Central Coast Council to undertake urgent pipeline repair works. The closed areas are:
- Rocky Point trail
- Allen Strom lookout
